The 24/07 Return Station system consists of a book drop with screen and a receipt printer. It allows patrons to automatically return the library documents. A reader installed in a book drop allows reading of the RFID tags as patron drops off the documents. It eliminates the labor - intensive steps of check-in and deactivation of the security protection by the library staff. It automatically returns the document, takes them off the patron’s library account and reactivates the security function.
Step 1. Press Open Door button on the touch screen
Step 2. The return door tray will open, put your book on the tray
Step 3. The touch screen will show confirming information about check-in process including the book's title and the green check at the status tab. Press Log out to finish.
