Signing in VinUni library: Configure authentication on Office 365 through MS Authenticator

By default, SMS OTP is the method to authenticate. But you can decide to use an alternative method by using Microsoft Authenticator app on Android/iOS. Using app is considered more stable since it does not have the risk of not receiving SMS as the default method.

- Download and Install "Microsoft Authenticator" app for Android, iOS.

- Sign into Office 365 with your browser via https://Office.com

1. Configure:

            - Click icon profile then choose ‘View Account’.

• Click "Security Info".

2. Method :

            - Click "Add Method".

- Choose "Authenticator App", click "Add"

-  Then click "Next"

- After the 2^nd Next. You need to open the "Microsoft Authenticator" app on your phone.

• On your phone :

+ Open "Microsoft Authenticator" app, then choose + add account.

+ Choose Work or school account.

• Use your phone camera to scan QR code on the web browser.

• While your app scans and processes, please wait.
• When Notification Approved appears to mean you added your Microsoft Authenticator app on your phone successfully!
• Click Next.

- When done. You can choose default method:

• MS Authenticator – notification ( Approve by notification )
• Authenticator app or hardware token – code ( Approve by Code )
