Using Google Scholar and databases like Scopus, you can find editorial standards, citation profiling, and selective decisions.
Search the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ) and Science Open
Search with your article title and abstract to return journal suggestions based on similarity scores, along with information about peer review and production turnaround times. Examples: Elsevier Journal finder and Springer Journal suggester.
Different levels of access: closed access (subscription), Gold OA (paid, immediately available through publishers), and Green OA (free, repository hosting).
Scopus CiteScore = the number of times documents published in the previous 3 years have been cited in the year of reporting, divided by the number of documents.
SCImago JournalRank (SJR) is a ranking based on the transfer of prestige from one journal to another based on Scopus citation data. Calculations are similar to those of the Journal Impact Factor.
Use Scimago when a Journal Impact Factor is not available, or when investigating across different fields and a publication is indexed in Scopus.
