ORCID

ORCID   (Open Researcher and Contributor ID) is a an open, non-profit, global organization that provides scholars and researchers with unique, persistent identifier (ORCID ID) so that your professional activities can be recorded, shared, and moved no matter where you go in your professional life.

The ORCID identifier of the researcher is made up of 16-digit number that is compatible with the ISO Standard (ISO 27729), also known as the International Standard Name Identifier (ISNI) which can be used to link your various research activities (publications, presentations, datasets, grants and all research inputs).

Example: https://orcid.org/0000-0001-5132-4986 (Dr. Minh Do Sample Profile).
